It is a unique opportunity to explore Physics in a more advanced setting which is much more enjoyable and challenging than the school syllabus. 🚀 PhysicsBeyond in a nutshell

PhysicsBeyond is a co-curricular academic program 🎓 developed primarily for students age 16 - 19, but is open to anyone with a very strong interest and passion for Physics 🌌, Maths ♾️ or Computer Science 💻, who would like to explore the subject beyond the school syllabus 🚀 and with a novel perspective and approach ✈️. Its goal is to create a community 👩🏼‍🤝‍🧑🏻👩🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏾 to inspire, collaborate and support each other while learning and exploring Physics, Maths and Computer Science together.

To provide food for thought on a regular basis PhysicsBeyond is running a weekly independent study course 👨‍🏫 exploring Physics and Maths from a Researcher’s Point of View 👩🏻‍🔬.

There will also be opportunities and support for

• 🔬 Conducting research projects as a team or as an individual
• 🏆 Finding team mates to participate in STEM based competitions like the Breakthrough Junior Challenge, the Conrad Challenge, MathWorks Math Modelling Challenge and many more!
• 🧑🏼‍🤝‍🧑🏾 Setting up a student-run Physics Journal Club
• 🖥️ Developing key skills in STEM like coding in Python 🐍, type-setting documents in $\LaTeX$ and many more.

In addition PhysicsBeyond is also offering a dedicated high-level mentoring programme 👨‍🏫BeyondResearch to raise the 21st century global leaders in STEM research 🚀. You can find more about it here: The BeyondResearch programme .

Participation is remote and only access to the internet is required. Besides gaining valuable skills and experience students become part and interact within an international group of like-minded peers.

The content is always interesting and challenging and over the past two years I have learnt so much not just about physics but about the world and uni. (James)
